UNLOCK Performance introduction

Updated over 7 months ago

UNLOCK Performance - a tool for performance assessment interviews.

It helps to record, discuss and evaluate the progress of an employee's performance and results in a structured way. The questionnaire consists of sections on organisation, team, personal goals, values, competences, open questions, development and overall performance.

The persons administering the performance evaluation interviews (you) choose which elements will be included and send the interviews to the teams. Teamleads and employees fill in the forms, the form filled in by employees is visible to teamleads. Once the form is filled in by the employees and submitted, the teamlead enters the form, where both the employee's and the teamlead's answers are visible, during the performance appraisal interview the final version is filled in. The final version is sent to the employee in PDF format by email and the teamlead can view his/her employees' forms via his/her link.

Non-functional and functional system specification

The UNLOCK Performance app is available to employees directly through all modern browsers at (MS Edge 124 and above, Mozilla Firefox 124.0 and above, Opera 110.0 and above, Apple Safari 17.0 and above, Google Chrome 125.0 and above) app.unlocktest.com.

Languages

The UNLOCK Performance admin environment has four languages (LT, PL, LV, EN). These languages include system menus, error messages, form fields, etc. System administrators have the possibility to choose the default interface language independently and to temporarily choose another interface language.

The environment and questionnaires for employees and teamleads must be able to be created in 6 languages (LT, EN, LV, ET, PL, RU)

User interface

Each employee, regardless of the system of rights assigned to him/her (hereinafter referred to as "user"), is only provided with information relevant to him/her (e.g. employees are only provided with the conversations of their evaluated employees, supervisors can see the conversations of all their employees, teamleads can see the conversations of their subordinate supervisors and their employees) in UNLOCK Performance.

The system administrator can see the conversations of all employees.

Text edition

The system contains system texts and user texts. The system texts cannot be changed. All non-systemic fields can be changed: the text of non-automatic messages sent, the text of instructions, all form fields to be filled in.

Statistics

In UNLOCK Performance you can view the performance statistics for a specific evaluation period on the compliance with the defined conversation, i.e. see the statistics on the status of the conversations (not started, in progress, submitted, approved).

The system administrator has the ability to view a list of all employees conversations, showing delays in milestones, and has the ability to send automated reminders.

Goal setting

The result of the achievement of staff members' personal objectives is reported in units and automatically as a percentage. Goals can be weighted in the interview so that the total weight of all goals completed in the interview equals 100%. This is one of the options given to the administrator in the system. The total weight of the objectives is checked automatically by the system and a check is made. If there is a discrepancy, it throws an error and informs the participant of the activity conversation. During the evaluation of the DVV, the interviewees have the opportunity to rate the achievement of the target individually and to record a commonly agreed rating, which is used in statistics and reports. The percentage of achievement of each objective is shown. The final annual interview provides an overall percentage of achievement of all objectives. Once the employee submits the questionnaire (for interview, approval), he/she can no longer remove the objectives set. The objectives can be removed by the supervisor during the interview or by returning the unvalidated form to the employee. All the objectives set and validated in the previous phases remain on the questionnaires for those phases, the full history of which is visible to the employee and the teamlead. The objectives of the DVV are automatically transferred to the form for the next appraisal period.

Completed evaluation interviews are checked when the interviewee marks the interview as completed. Any checking errors are clearly indicated in red by indicating the specific parts of the interview that were not completed correctly.

Reports

The DVV allows you to view statistical information and reports (in Excel format) on the conversations for different periods.
