Creating an account and employees

This guide provides general principles on how to use the UNLOCK Tests platform.

Tools offered by UNLOCK Tests:

  1. UNLOCK Personality. Assesses an employee‘s personality traits, personality type, and preferred team roles. Individual and team-level reports included.

  2. UNLOCK Panoramic 360. Assesses an employee‘s personality traits, managerial competencies, and other characteristics from the perspectives of their managers, colleagues, and subordinates, as well as their own.

  3. UNLOCK NumerIQ. Assesses employee‘s logical reasoning, ability to understand, interpret, and evaluate numerical and graphical information.

  4. UNLOCK VerbIQ. Assesses employee‘s ability to work with textual information – to understand, interpret, and evaluate the text.

  5. UNLOCK Error Checking IQ. Assesses an employee‘s accuracy, attention to detail, and speed of error detection.

  6. UNLOCK AbstractIQ. Assesses an employee‘s ability to flexibly solve new problems, apply logical principles, and understand unfamiliar information independently of prior experience and acquired knowledge.

  7. UNLOCK Leadership. Assesses employee’s leadership style, flexibility and effectiveness; indicates level of basic leadership knowledge.

  8. UNLOCK Employee Experience. Assesses employee’s job satisfaction, empowerment, loyalty as well as organizational microclimate and culture.

  9. UNLOCK Performance. Create review forms, include teams and systematically record and discuss employee’s progress and results in different stages, such as Setting Goals, Interim Reviews, and Annual Review.

Creating an UNLOCK account

You created your first login with the demo version after receiving an email with your login information. The login name is your email address.

Once you have purchased the UNLOCK Tests platform, you will receive a confirmation email and you will log in with the same logins you used to connect to the demo version.

If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password when you log in and you will receive instructions on how to reset your password.

If you have 2-factor authentication enabled, you will need to enter a one-time login code each time you log in for security reasons, which you will receive by email.

Creating UNLOCK users

You can create more than one user in your account to administer the tests together with you. On the left hand side select Account -> Company‘s users -> Create a new user.

In the window that opens, enter users name, surname and email address. Choose the language the administrator will use on the platform. Select a user role:

· -The role “administrator” means that everything in your account can be managed and viewed.

· The role “user” means that certain entities or tools can be assigned to be seen and managed by this account administrator.

The new user/administrator will receive an email at the email address provided with a link to create a password and start using the platform.

Setting up employees, structures, groups and teams

Employees

To be able to assign tests, you need to create employees. When the platform is purchased, the first time you import employees is done by the UNLOCK Tests team, then you add additional ones. Create test participants by selecting the Employees and All Employees columns on the left.

After selecting All employees, click Create new employee.

Fill in the required fields, click Save. The system will create employees to whom you can assign tests/questionnaires.

If you plan to send tests to departments or individual groups, you can assign employees to an Organization Structure or Group.

The organisation structure is created after the purchase of the platform and is imported by the UNLOCK Tests team.

Groups

To create a group, select Groups, enter the name of the Group and assign the created employees. You will be able to send tests to a group instead of individual employees.

Teams

Teams are created only for the UNLOCK Performance tool. You will need to select the teams when creating a Performance review.

Select teams.

Select Create a team.

Create a team: enter a team name, select a team leader and employees. Before that, the employees must be created.
